ASKO's US range covers dishwashers, washers, heat-pump drying machines and a wine climate cabinet; cooking appliances are outside this list. ### Two lint filters on the heat-pump model The heat-pump drying machine has a net filter in the door, emptied after every load, and a foam filter in front of the heat pump that the manual says to clean at least every 10 cycles. ### The foam filter stays dry ASKO's manual asks owners not to rinse the foam filter under the tap, so it is brushed or vacuumed clean instead; a clogged pair of filters can make the machine shut itself off to protect against overheating. ### A door without a rubber boot ASKO's Logic front loader closes on a steel seal rather than the usual rubber gasket, which removes the fold where lint and damp gather on most front loaders. ### A cabinet that needs water The wine climate cabinet keeps its humidity with a HumidityBox that ASKO says to refill about every 30 days, and it raises an alarm when a zone falls to 40 percent humidity.
