Diagnostic fee ### Whole-home maintenance visit One unhurried pass through every appliance in the house, with a written log of what each one needs next. Cost: lowest ### Condenser coil cleaning Dust and pet hair brushed and vacuumed off the coil and fan of every cold storage unit in the house. Cost: low ### Water filter and descaling service Fresh filters in dispensers and ice makers, and scale cleared from steam ovens, ice makers and dish care machines. Cost: low to moderate ### Door seal check and replacement Gaskets on cold storage, oven and dish care doors tested edge to edge, cleaned or refitted, and the doors realigned. Cost: low to moderate ### Lint path and exhaust vent cleaning Lint cleared from the screen housing, the duct behind the laundry and the whole run to the outside hood. Cost: low ### Drum seal and drain filter cleaning The door boot, drain filter, detergent drawer and fill hoses on the washer cleaned and checked, and the machine leveled. Cost: lowest ### Dish care filter and spray arm cleaning Filters, spray arm nozzles, door seals and the drain loop cleaned and checked so dishes come out clean again. Cost: low to moderate ### Burner, igniter and gas connection check Burner ports and caps cleaned, igniters cleared, every flame read, and the gas connector and shutoff leak-tested. Cost: low ### Grease filter and hood fan service Hood and microwave grease filters degreased or replaced, charcoal pads renewed, and the fan and duct checked for airflow. Cost: lowest ### Annual maintenance plan Scheduled upkeep visits for every appliance in the home, spread across the year, with one running service log. Compare the price of upkeep with the price of the trouble it heads off, not with nothing. A coil cleaning costs a fraction of a compressor, a lint path cleaning a fraction of a heater or thermostat, a set of braided hoses a fraction of a new floor and a few days of fans running in the laundry room. Upkeep also lowers the power and gas bills a little every month, and it is what lets a well-built appliance reach the full service life its maker designed for. The math changes only where an appliance is already near the end: very old, on its third or fourth repair, or built in a way that no longer has parts. There a visit can still clean and log it, and the log tells you honestly when to stop spending on it. The same visit is also the cheapest time to find the small problem that would otherwise arrive as a breakdown. Which service should I pick? The whole-home maintenance visit. List the appliances you own in the booking and the technician works through each one, then tells you which of the individual services on this page each appliance actually needed and which can wait a year. ### Can one visit combine several of these services? Yes, and that is how most visits run. Coil cleaning on the refrigerator, a filter change, the dryer exhaust and the hood filters fit into one trip and one trip fee. You see a price beside every task and decide which of them happen. ### Where can I compare what each maintenance service costs? Swapping a water cartridge and clearing a thirty-foot exhaust run through an attic are very different jobs. The cost page ranks the services from the smallest to the largest, and the visit shows where your house falls. ### Do you bring filters and gaskets, or order them afterward? Common refrigerator water cartridges, hood grease filters, braided supply hoses, lint screens and many door gaskets travel on the truck, and model numbers in the booking raise the odds of a match.
