Place a cup or jug under the milk spout.
Hold the lid's CLEAN button down for at least 5 seconds and keep holding until the CLEANING! bar fills completely.
Return the milk to the refrigerator within 15 minutes; if froth stays poor afterward, disassemble and wash the lid, and book a visit if milk still will not come through.

The reminder is gone from the display, the filter, the screen or the tub has been cleaned or swapped, and the appliance runs a full cycle without calling for it again. A clean-filter light or a descale prompt that returns in days rather than months usually means the part it watches is fouling faster than normal, so mention that when you book.

The flashing message is a routine prompt, not an error, and clears once the flush finishes. Releasing the button early only interrupts the flush rather than completing it.
