Turn the column off with the Unit button and wait about 30 minutes for the condenser to cool.
Remove the grille under the door and vacuum the fins with a soft brush attachment, wearing gloves.
Restart the column and touch reset in the maintenance menu; book a visit if the condenser is heavily caked or the column keeps running warm.

The reminder is gone from the display, the filter, the screen or the tub has been cleaned or swapped, and the appliance runs a full cycle without calling for it again. A clean-filter light or a descale prompt that returns in days rather than months usually means the part it watches is fouling faster than normal, so mention that when you book.
