A filter has reached the end of its life or is clogged enough for the appliance to notice: a refrigerator water cartridge past its gallons or months, a hood's grease or charcoal filter loaded with residue, a dish-care filter packed with food, a washer inlet filter choked with grit. The fix is a clean or a new filter of the right part number, fitted with the appliance unplugged and the water closed where there is one, then the reminder reset.

Each step comes from Bertazzoni's own guidance for F on its home appliances. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Switch the hood off and let the filters cool before removing them.
Wash the filters by hand or in the dishwasher, then let them dry fully.
Clip them back in with the handles facing out, then hold the light key (button B) for about five seconds until F stops flashing.
Book a visit if F will not clear or comes back right away.

What not to do
F does not report a blower or lighting failure, and the hood keeps working while it flashes. If the display alternates between C and F instead, that points to the charcoal filters rather than the grease filters.
