Hold the Unit button for about three seconds to switch the column off.
Let the condenser cool to room temperature, about 30 minutes, then remove the grille below the door.
Vacuum the condenser fins gently with a soft brush attachment, wearing gloves since the fins are sharp.
Restart the column and touch the reset icon so the reminder returns on the same six-month schedule.

The reminder is gone from the display, the filter, the screen or the tub has been cleaned or swapped, and the appliance runs a full cycle without calling for it again. A clean-filter light or a descale prompt that returns in days rather than months usually means the part it watches is fouling faster than normal, so mention that when you book.

This is a scheduled reminder, not a report of a cooling failure. A column that runs warm even with a freshly cleaned condenser is a separate problem that calls for a technician.
